DRM

Initial Setup

To use DRM, it must be enabled per merchant. To activate DRM, please contact Customer Support.
If you want to deliver content to iOS devices (such as Apple TV) or the Safari browser, you must obtain the FairPlay Deployment Package released by Apple. To request the FairPlay Deployment Package, please contact Apple via the Apple Developer website. The package contains the following four important items. Please provide them to Customer Support.
DRM activation is typically completed within five business days.

Information Required for FairPlay

• CSR (Certificate Signing Request) – File format: .csr
• ASK (Application Secret Key) – File format: 128-bit string
• Certificate – File format: .der or .cer
• Key (Standard Private Key) – File format: .pem

Even if you have tested FairPlay implementation in a staging environment, you must obtain a production certificate from Apple.

DRM License Expiration

You can set an expiration date or validity period for key requests from the player. If a key request is not made or is outside the validity period, video playback will stop. The expiration date and validity period are configured in the streaming settings.
