Live Streaming

Live streaming is similar to a live television broadcast, where viewers watch at a scheduled time. “Chase playback” is also available for viewers who start watching after the stream has begun. For stable streaming, you need a camera to capture video, an encoder (such as LiveShell or OBS), and a stable internet connection.

Normally, RTMP is recommended.
Profile Select the profile to use.
Live to File Set to Yes if you want to record the entire live stream and distribute it later as on-demand streaming.

Video Clip

Configure this when you want to record part of a live stream and distribute it as on-demand streaming. Specify the recording (clip) range by date and time. The range can only be specified after live encoding has started and while the status is Encoding. If you reuse a previously stopped live event for live streaming, please create a new Video Clip setting.
* Once a live stream is stopped, any Video Clips set during streaming (encoding), even if scheduled for a future date, will be treated as ended.

Item Name Description
Profile Select the profile to use.
